Raw… rice-less sushi!

Wow… I just tested out an AMAZING recipe – inspired by this fabulous post..
PS if you don’t already read this blog, it’s fantastic, I highly recommend it!!

Introducing RAW… rice-less sushi!
First off I soaked a bunch of sesame seeds for about 3 hours.
Then blended them together with some soya sauce and lemon juice. Until a rice consistency.

  5. Jess you did an awesome job on this one!!!!!
I have never tried my hand at sushi, the only rawish foodie who hasnt I surmise and you inspire me to try it b/c honestly, you made it look so easy and good! Love the spicy dipping sauce. I just posted a link for my peanut sauce today which is super easy and good too w/ this type of food.

I have also seen people do cauliflower minced in the food proc for sushi rice too.

    Great work girl!!!!

  8. Looks SO yummy! I have not had sushi in months, because basically I can't right now unless they are california rolls and I have never tried my hand at making it either! Maybe I will have to get a little more daring!

  15. So totally not the ugliest veggies in blogland. More like adorably ugly, like a pug or a sharpei.

As you know, these rolls inspired me!
