Can’t move Monday! haha

Good morning bloggies!
Well I started the Whittle My Middle Challenge yesterday and first off, didn’t do so well (apparently I have NO core muscles) and today standing, laughing or coughing feels like a full time (painful) job!
But I love it!  I love muscle soreness pain
BRING IT ON!
I also unlocked the 10 min hula hooping on the Wii fit and let me tell you,  2 months and I will have gone from a size 14 waist to a size 0 if I keep this up every day!!   Wiiiiiiiiii
How are you all doing?  I’m assuming everyone is back to their regular schedules today? I have one more day (that will be super busy) and then I start school tomorrow!  OMG
I have been drinking lots of this

in the morning, and it has definitely spiked my energy level.
As amazing as it sounds I am getting used to just drinking it straight too!
I also had yet another random platter
(which I’m sure you are getting tired of seeing)

I won’t go into details about this one, but I want to tell you about the delicious seaweed I found (don’t cringe)

It is so tasty, I’ve been eating it with Kimichi wrapped inside.
Here are the details
DSC_0431
Maybe not a snack for every day, but I figured once in awhile it is ok!
I have been working hard at getting in way more veggies so yesterday’s lunch was a salad!
DSC_0435
It was full of leafy greens, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, dried cranberries and turkey!  Topped off with balsamic vinegar, grapeseed oil and pepper!
DSC_0438
I wish I could say it was delicious, but it wasn’t.
I had to work hard to get through it, the tomatoes were grainy, the turkey didn’t taste good and the cucumber had no taste!
Oh to have my garden back!
Last night for dinner I made turnip/carrot mashed and then “fried” up.  *Not really fried, but browned.
Sautéed kale with garlic and grapeseed oil and baked chicken!

I made it through all the veggies (and some of Dave’s) but only a bite of the chicken, it was pretty dry.

I love this little mash it’s soo tasty! DSC_0448
Fast forward to breakfast this morning (and bypass the huge bowl of popcorn eaten later)
I scrambled up some veggies, eggs and nutritional yeast
DSC_0459
tossed it into a wrap
DSC_0457
And put it in the George Forman grill – and out came a delicious breakfast wrap!
I had another shot the wheatgrass! (ick)
Now I’m off to try to tackle my to do list today…
Whittle my middle day 2 (which will probably take 2 seconds as I’m so sore)
Finally get my criminal record check done for school
Go shopping for school supplies
Go buy a spiralizer (I finally found one in town)
Do some cleaning
Work with Lance on his puppy school check list
Think of something creative for dinner- I took out ground turkey – any ideas?
I’m sure more things will pop up as I go!

I will leave you guys with a few pictures of our walk this weekend, muddy but beautiful!

  2. Gorgeous photos as usual! This may be a silly question, but what do you plan to use a spiralizer for? I've seen them for garnish, but maybe I'm missing the point altogether!

As for Whittle My Middle, today's my Day 1 (finally battled this cold into submission)... we'll see how it goes! :) Hope your day's going well!
