Christmas Survey!!!

I decided I needed to take a break from the cooking/prep madness!!

I got this survey from Jolene at Everyday Foodie!

Feel free to steal it, as it would be fun to learn a little more about you guys!!

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Not a fan of either
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree? I'm not sure Santa is stopping by this year ;)   I forgot that part!
3. Coloured lights on tree/house or white? White lights are my fav.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No thanks, I enjoy kissing who I can kiss whenever I want, no kissing other people thank you! :)
5. When do you put your decorations up? This year it was end of November!!  I figure it's making up for the 5+ years of no decorations!! :)   I'm going to miss the Christmas tree when it's gone!
6. What is your favourite holiday dish? Stuffing - Honestly, I love the stovetop stuff...
7. Favourite Holiday memory as a child? Grandpa sending us out after dinner to go "look for Santa", when we got back magically all the gifts from Santa where under the tree!!   RIP Gramps - miss you!!
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?I found out about the tooth fairy first, and put it all together!
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We used too, but now that not everyone opens gifts, we go to moms in the afternoon Christmas day to open them.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? It's a mishmash of pretty ornaments, gifts and crafts from kids!
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? I like snow, if i don't need to go anywhere!! It would be nice to have a white Christmas!
12. Can you ice skate? haha..  nope.
13. Do you remember your favourite gift? I had to spend a Christmas alone, I was devestated, when I got home from work, my roomate had left me new pjs, a stocking(two other traditions) and some gifts, with a very sweet note..  She didn't have to do it, but it was the best!!
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Family... good food ;)  (true foodie answer yes!!)
15. What is your favourite Holiday Dessert? Ised to be my grandma's white chocolate covered nuts/dried fruit, can't have it this year!
16. What is your favourite holiday tradition? Stockings, hands down, no matter what is in it!
17. What tops your tree? Nothing, a nice one is hard to find.
18. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving? Giving, especially this year, as I know everyone will like their gifts, I had more time this year to put more thought in it...
19. What is your favourite Christmas Song? Baby it's cold outside - hand's down!
20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Ummm...?  In between!!

MERRY HO HO!!

  6. Hey Miss Dairy Free,

Thank you for the award! It made my morning!!!
    Merry Christmas!

P.S. I just posted a relatively dairy free recipe you may enjoy. I was actually thinking of you when writing it! I had a tiny amount of organic butter in it but you are welcome to substitute it for olive oil or leave out the fat, in general, and add more agave.

Oh! And I 100% agree with your answer: Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Ummm...? In between!!
I feel like the initial few licks are fun. So pepperminty and fresh, but then I taste all of the sugar and I am nauseated.
